Calm and sophisticated, the design of this 13,000 square foot space addresses the many challenges posed by the building’s raw shell condition. Planning revolved around two existing stairs and the central server room with its noisy cooling units and had to address moving staff from private offices to workstations and bringing natural light into the space. To create the loft-like environment, exterior concrete walls were left raw and concrete floors polished, ceilings were left exposed and floating acoustical clouds added and a subtle materials palette developed of white, grey and silver accentuated with green, yellow and turquoise with warm woods.
